Bill A497 was voted out of the Assembly Health Committee today (April 30, 2013) This bill would allow minors (as young as nine years old) to obtain vaccinations for sexually transmitted diseases without the consent or knowledge of their parents. See link:

Call your legislators (go to CHANGE LAW and tell them to vote NO on this bill when it comes to the floor. Why?
  • Minor children will NOT know the appropriate questions to ask regarding vaccinations- most don't know their medical history
  • If they have a adverse reaction, parents will NOT know what to do or why it's even happening
  • Mom and Dad should be involved in every medical decision regarding their kids
